Growing Food is NOT Cancelled!

It is a beautiful spring, even as us humans are struggling.

Work on the farm, in the soil, keeps me just about grounded these days, that and not looking at my phone constantly. So many changes for everyone. Yet what bigger change could there be than the changing of the seasons and that happens so gracefully. Things that wouldn’t have seemed possible a few weeks ago are the new normal. Some where there is a lesson in that about limits we set on possibility and what is actually available. Tell me when you find it.

In news from the farm, we are working away in the greenhouse, stepping up our first round of tomatoes, sowing more lettuces, peppers, eggplant and our first round of summer squash and cucumbers. The strawberries are starting to bloom and the blueberry buds are swelling.

We are excited to harvest our first lettuces and greens come the first of April!
