Changes at Full Sun Farm in 2026!

After doing tailgate markets for over 30 years, Alex and I are taking a break. We are so grateful for all the support we have had over these many decades. We couldn’t have done it without all of our neighbors, CSA worker members, CSA members, market customers, online shoppers, interns, apprentices, workers, friends and family. You all have cheered us on from the early days of Vanessa selling behind the Fresh Market with a homemade table and a patio umbrella to the big market van, double market spot, two awnings and 6 tables of produce and flowers every Saturday and Wednesday from April until Christmas.

We are planning to take this season and see where we want to take Full Sun Farm from here.

In 2026, we’ll have flowers and strawberries for sale at the North Asheville Tailgate Market from April and May and then we’ll be growing for our local Sandy Mush food pantry, Equal Plates and other local food aid organizations, winter squash, potatoes and onions mainly.

If you have an existing balance from previous years, please contact us to make arrangements.

Sign up for the newsletter to see what will happen next.

And again thank you for enjoying our produce and flowers for all these years, for showing your appreciation of our work and supporting a local agriculture that works to protect and even improve the soil and land that is its foundation.

Tending the Black Eyed Susans.Full Sun Farm is a small family farm run by Alex Brown and Vanessa Campbell. We live here in an old farm house with our two daughters, Ada and Belle. Our focus is growing a lot of different kinds of really tasty, organic vegetables and stunningly beautiful flowers for sale at farmer’s markets. We have high quality standards both for flavor and for looks, and our stands at market are known for being among the most visually appealing in the area. We grow our produce to sell it and find selling at market and to our CSA customers challenging, rewarding and important work.  Learn More
